Junior Chamber International Port Louis (JCI Port Louis) then known as Jeune Chambre Economique de Port Louis (JCEPL) operates since 1984 under the umbrella of JCI Mauritius which consists of 5 branches in all. Today, JCI Mauritius has approximately 200 members and is recognised at National and International levels as a model Non-Governmental Organisation (NGO).
JCI Port Louis provides professionals, executives, entrepreneurs and students a pathway to advancement through education, mentoring, business networking, and services that enhance innovation, technical skills, business savvy and personal growth. Our most important work, however, is performed in our own respective communities, which we continue to serve. JCI believes that, as we make great strides forward, we must share our skills, our expertise and our vision at home, thus contributing to the advancement of our community.
JCI Port Louis’ vision joins JCI’s vision which is to create better leaders in order to have better societies. Our mission is to contribute to the advancement of the global community by providing the opportunity for young people to develop the leadership skills, social responsibility, entrepreneurship and fellowship necessary to create positive change.
JCI Port Louis is made of creative and bold leaders between 18 and 40 years old. Representing countless professions, we develop new skills while contributing to our community, laying new foundations, and establishing new businesses and social networks.
